An average speed system on the A10 has been extended to cover a new section of the road in a bid by Transport for London (TfL), Enfield Council and the Met Police to reduce road danger and road-based anti-social behaviour.

In 2020 the first average speed cameras were installed on a section of the A10 between the M25 and Southbury Road. The scheme has now been extended south through Edmonton as far as the A406.
