The upper floor of a car park at Colchester’s main railway station is to be demolished for safety reasons.
Greater Anglia is demolishing the top floor of the decked car park after a structural report found that the condition of the deck had deteriorated. The upper deck closed in July after engineers expressed safety concerns.
Next year, a new section of road and a walkway around the car park will be added.
