Greenock-based McGill’s Buses has purchased National Express Group’s Dundee bus operation for an undisclosed sum.
Ralph Roberts, chief executive of McGill’s Buses, said: “We are purchasing the shares of the company and all activities will carry on as normal – there are no immediate plans to change the branding of the buses.”
The Dundee operation features 350 employees, 120 buses, and an annual turnover of more than £18m.
