Municipal bus operator Newport Transport has become the first transport operator to use a new £120m financing facility for the roll-out of electric vehicles.
The operator has struck a deal with Zenobe Energy for the supply of 15 electric single-deck buses. Zenobe will finance the buses, batteries and charging infrastructure.
