Funding urged to retrofit older buses with emissions reduction equipment

 

Fitting emission reduction equipment to older buses and a bus scrappage scheme would be more cost effective ways of improving air quality than a scrappage scheme for diesel cars, according to a report prepared for bus lobby group Greener Journeys.
