Carole Coune has rejoined SNCB Holding, the Belgian state rail operator. Last August she was appointed president of the International Transport Forum of the OECD, but resigned unexpectedly in November.
She is now back on the board of SNCB Holding responsible for the mobility files and the reform of the structures of the Belgian railways, in cooperation with the cabinet minister Paul Magnette.
