East Renfrewshire Council has commissioned consultant JMP to carry out a traffic regulation order (TRO) review to support the council’s implementation of decriminalised parking enforcement (DPE).
Working under a framework agreement, JMP will examine 61 TROs to identify any discrepancies to ensure the validity of an eventual TRO ‘legal standing’ statement in an application to the Scottish Government seeking the powers to implement a DPE scheme.
