Translink integrates with iLink smartcard

Scheme covers Northern Ireland’s transport network

The progress of smart ticketing schemes in the United Kingdom, outside of London’s Oyster card scheme of course, has been slow the say the least. However, integrated smartcard-based ticketing has taken a step forward in Northern Ireland with the commencement of the iLink card by state-owned bus and rail operator Translink.
