INIT integrates ticketing with route navigation

EVENDpc system blends high technology with advanced features

GERMAN technology firm INIT is implementing an innovative high-technology ticketing system for four regional bus companies owned by DB Stadtverkehr in Bavaria.

As part of the package, INIT is also supplying its multi-client fleet management system MOBILE-ITCS, with which more than 3,000 vehicles will soon be controlled by a single standardized system. The ticketing element of the package, which uses the sophisticated EVENDpc system, combines a ticket printer with on-board computer functionality...
