TravelSpirit and MaaS Alliance announce agenda for joint Open Mobility Conference

01 March 2019

Whilst people want simple, convenient and cost effective travel, it’s proving difficult and intricate to create the conditions for seamless multi-modal travel at city, operator and business level.

The Open Mobility Conference takes place on 11 April, at Kanal Brussels, and will looks at how an open ecosystem for mobility could be achieved. With a keynote speech looking at how air industry retailing standards might apply to intermodal travel, and experience from industry leaders and cities, this conference promises to draw on expertise from within the Mobility as a Service sector and beyond for a practical solutions focused and thought-provoking day.

Organised by TravelSpirit and MaaS Alliance sessions will bring together thought leaders, industry experts and start ups across the mobility and data fields to discuss both obstacles and solutions on the path to open mobility. Workshops include:

  • Creating parity for data sharing across transport industries
  • Data governance models for cities
  • From legacy systems to open systems
  • Incorporating active travel into business models

Sponsors include Skedgo, Tranzer, Europcar, MaaS Global and the University of Birmingham.

The Open Mobility Conference takes place on 11 April, at Kanal Brussels.
