The Committee is expected to meet for the first time on 31 October. It will stop receiving written evidence at the end of the Committee stage, which is expected to be 16 November.

The Automated and Electric Vehicles Bill 2017 will set the regulatory framework to enable the next wave of transport technology to be invented, designed, made and used in the UK. The Bill comprises three Parts and contains one Schedule:

  • Part 3 makes general provision in respect of the Bill as a whole.
