Camden police end prosecution of pavement riders

The Metropolitan Police has stated it will no longer fine cyclists who ride on pavements in Camden, and will instead investigate why they are not using the road. Met police sergeant Nick Clarke said: “Riding on the pavement is technically illegal, just like being drunk in a pub is technically illegal, but we don’t enforce it unless we have good reason.
