Trunk Road Agents should not develop transport schemes says Welsh panel

Trunk Road Agents in Wales are set to lose their role in developing strategic transport schemes, after the Welsh Roads Review Panel led by Dr Lynn Sloman identified a bias in the way appraisals have been taken forward in the past. The panel recommended replicating the model of the South East Wales Transport Commission to bring multi-modal and regional dimensions to options development.
