The latest comparisons with pre-pandemic travel by the DfT has revealed that there are more people using public transport and driving during weekends.
Passenger levels on the Tube were 69% for the week ending 3 April, but numbers were higher during the weekend; for example, patronage was 64% on Friday 1 April compared with 80% on Saturday 2 April and 87% of Sunday 3 April.
