The UK’s three largest cities – Birmingham, London and Manchester – have the highest public transport fares in Europe, reveals a new report from Campaign for Better Transport.
Some 36 European cities were ranked by progress made towards achieving net zero by 2030, based on measures ranging from more space for walking and cycling to road safety and policies to phase out polluting cars.
