A plan to make the Tees Valley a centre for hydrogen-powered transport has been published by the DfT.
Ben Houchen, the Conservative elected mayor of the Tees Valley Combined Authority, wants the area to be a leading player in the production and use of hydrogen as part of the country’s decarbonisation plans. The Tees Valley has a rich history in chemical production.
