The Government should prepare the country for the rapid acceleration of electric vehicle take-up, according to the National Infrastructure Commission’s EV policy lead.
Catherine Jones, a senior policy adviser at the NIC, said: “There may be a strong case for making sure the UK has the charging points in place to support the fastest possible take-up of electric vehicles, without adversely affecting the energy network.”
