The Government is setting up a new advisory body to advise on the country’s most pressing transport infrastructure needs.
Infrastructure UK will identify the UK’s long-term infrastructure needs over a 5-50 year timeframe across policy areas such as transport, energy, waste, water and communications. Full details of the new body and its chair will be announced in the pre-Budget report this autumn.
