APCOA Parking (UK) has secured an extension to its five-year enforcement contract with Maidstone Borough Council. The contract was due to be re-tendered this year, but the council has chosen to grant a two-year extension until May 2011.
The firm’s CEOs patrol on-street as well as in one multi-storey and 14 surface car parks in Maidstone town centre, a total of 1,200 spaces. It also enforces the council’s residents parking scheme.
