As authorities continue their bid preparations for the emergency Active Travel Fund, the importance of supporting evidence on suitable corridors, zones and communities is becoming increasingly clear. Understanding how data can be used to inform decision making, together with rich network datasets from Ordnance Survey, will provide authorities with a greater insight into the best places for cycling and walking.

Beyond the capital funding for schemes there are significant opportunities to authorities to invest in proven methods of achieving behaviour change and support for users opting to shift modes in the coming months.
This webinar will explore:
• What evidence and tools are available immediately to show which roads are most suitable for cycling provision
• How to identify the roads most popular with pedestrians, and how their behaviour alters around pop-up infrastructure
• Which communities are more likely to embrace mode shift, and which are harder to reach
• How parents can feel safe when encouraging their children to walk to and from school

Facilitator: Richard Owen, CEO, Agilysis
