The new event from Parking Review

Managing the movement and parking of vehicles is vital to ensuring the health and vitality of towns and cities. This means that parking and traffic management teams are an essential service whose work is often misunderstood and undervalued.

The new Traffic + Parking conference is a forum in which parking and traffic management professionals from both the public and private sectors can gather to discuss the operational issues that really matter to them and also learn about the latest policy, legislative and technology developments from leaders in the field.

Traffic and Parking 2019 has been devised by Parking Review magazine and Landor LINKS, the team behind the ever popular British Parking Awards and Parking & Property conference. Traffic + Parking builds on the legacy of the long-running Parking World event, but its new focus recognises the increasing interconnection between the parking, kerbside and traffic management sectors.

The event is being co-programmed with PATROL (Parking and Traffic Regulation Outside London), a joint committee of over 300 local authorities across England and Wales.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Louise Hutchinson, Director, PATROL
  • Cllr Jamie Macrae, Chair, PATROL Joint Committee
  • Caroline Sheppard OBE, Chief Adjudicator, Traffic Penalty Tribunal
  • Susan Claris, Associate Director, Arup
  • Thomas Fleming, Senior Consultant, Integrated Transport Planning (ITP) and London Councils speaker
  • Keith Moyles, Contracts Manager, Civil Parking Services, Knowsley Council
  • Paul Nicholls, Parking Strategy & Contracts Manager, Brighton & Hove City Council
  • Andrew Potter, Director, Parking Perspectives
  • Sarah Randall, Head of Parking, Croydon Council
  • Rob Shoebridge, Civil Enforcement and Parking Services Team Manager, Derby City Council
  • Iain Worrall, Stakeholder Manager, Traffic Penalty Tribunal
