The North East Parking Show is a brand new event designed to showcase the best in local authority parking and traffic management.

The show will take place in the impressive Banqueting Suite at Newcastle Civic Centre. Delegates will be able to hear about new developments and approaches to managing parking, and also get hands-on access to new technologies and systems.

The North East Parking Show will be hosted by Newcastle City Council and organised by leading knowledge network Landor LINKS.

The day has been programmed by the award-winning Newcastle Parking Services team working with the Parking Review magazine.

This event is free to attend for Local Authority Delegates thanks to sponsorship from Newcastle City Council, RingGo and Alpha Parking. The event is supported by PayByPhone and Flowbird.

Parking and Traffic Regulation Outside London (PATROL) provides advice and guidance for local authorities across England and Wales and ensures motorists have access to an independent appeals service, the Traffic Penalty Tribunal (TPT). PATROL is a champion of better engagement with the public and stakeholders via annual reports, the use of social media and well-designed websites.

School street enforcement – A New approach

A presentation on the use of attended ANPR systems to reduce dangerous and anti-social parking at school gates.
