Following on from the success of the 2018 Focus on Highways Funding Conference, South West Highways Alliance and Landor LINKS present the 2nd SWHA Conference - Highway to Zero Carbon at STEAM, Swindon on 18 March 2020. The conference theme will be centered around the opportunities for Highways to achieve carbon neutrality and other environmental benefits and will consider the implications for Local Highway Authorities and their supply chains.  The event has the stated aim of sharing knowledge of good and innovative practices that are being adopted by the highways sector on the road to carbon neutrality.

The conference and exhibition will take place at the interesting and historic venue of STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway, Swindon on 15 September 2020

The event is being managed on SWHA’s behalf by Landor LINKS.  The programme will include top national and regional speakers and panellists.  Planned highlights include updates from the DfT and national Climate Change organisations, future scoping, and showcasing innovative working practices and projects.

Local and combined authority places are free of charge, please select 'Public Sector delegate' above to book your place.

Event Rescheduled

At Landor LINKS we are committed to delivering the best possible knowledge sharing and networking events. Following a number of our high-profile speakers having to postpone their attendance due to COVID-19 precautions, we believe it's best to re-schedule the conference to meet their availability.

We want to give you as much notice as possible that the event will now take place on Tuesday 15th September rather than Wednesday 18th March as originally planned.

All tickets/bookings are now valid for the new date.

We look forward to welcoming you in September and thank you for your understanding.
