Better Places is about transformational changes that create places that are vibrant, prosperous and desirable to live, work and play. 

Better Places will shine a light on the project teams, innovators and individuals that are bringing new life to rural and urban places.  

Lots of elements go into making good places: viable transport option; safe streets; accessible amenities; decent homes; and the close proximity of public squares, parks and gardens. 

Better Places will offer a forum for experts, community activists, pioneers, professionals, decision-makers and practitioners working across the UK, Europe and internationally to make places better.

Better Places 2016 will explore:
