Modelling World visits the Middle East in February 2016

The Address, Dubai Marina

Dubai is set to welcome Modelling World Middle East: Smart City Modelling on 25 February 2016. Modelling World Middle East is an international forum and expo at which expertise, experience and innovation in transport modelling, data analytics and visualisation will be celebrated, debated, showcased and shared. For 10 years, Europe-based Modelling World has successfully pushed the boundaries of practitioner thinking and decision-making support across the increasingly integrated transport, logistics and urban planning sectors.

Now, for the first time outside of Europe, Modelling World Middle East will explore:

  • Demand forecasting for a fast-growing metropolis
  • Smart city modelling
  • Using new data sources
  • State of the art visualisation supporting complex decisions

In February 2016, Modelling World Middle East: Smart City Modelling  will provide a unique platform for regional professionals to explore and debate the opportunities offered, and challenges faced, by a region with highly ambitious plans for development and growth. World-class events such as Expo 2020 Dubai and the Qatar World Cup 2022 will demand the development of best practice in connected urban mobility, logistics, and infrastructure delivery/operations. Expertise in modelling support, from strategic long-term demand forecasting to detailed real-life operational simulation, will be vital.
