Allstar renews Crown Commercial Service agreement

Electric vehicle, fuel and corporate payments company Allstar has renewed its agreement with the Crown Commercial Service (CCS), strengthening its role as a long-term partner to public sector fleet operators.

The renewed agreement marks more than 20 years of continuous collaboration. It enables public sector organisations to manage fuel and electric vehicle fleets through a single, compliant procurement framework.

As one of the largest suppliers of fuel, EV and associated fleet payment services on the CCS framework RM6367, Allstar now supports over 3,000-plus public sector organisations, including emergency services, central government departments and local authorities, delivering integrated payment, reporting and fleet management infrastructure.

As public sector fleets increasingly operate a combination of internal combustion engine vehicles and electric vehicles, the renewed CCS framework reflects a fundamental growing shift in operational reality: managing two energy systems, two cost structures and two infrastructure models simultaneously.

Allstar’s renewed agreement enables organisations to manage this complexity through a single supplier and unified payment and reporting platform, as well as support those that are continuing to run a single fuel fleet.

Through the CCS framework, organisations can access the UK’s largest combined fuel and EV charging networks for business with the Allstar One Monitor card, benefit from cost savings via the Discount Diesel network, and gain improved operational control through consolidated reporting, spend visibility and compliance management.

Under the renewed agreement, Allstar provides public sector organisations with access to EV payment solutions for home charging, on-the-road charging and near-home charging, alongside digital tools including MilagePoint, an HMRC-compliant mileage reporting solution, the award-winning Allstar Co-Pilot app for route planning, searching and payment for EV charging on the road, and Allstar Parking for integrated parking payments.

These solutions are designed to support fleets at different stages of transition, enabling organisations to maintain conventional fuel operations while scaling EV adoption in line with government decarbonisation targets.

Through a long-term partnership with Kent Police and Essex Police, Allstar delivers a tailored fuel and EV payment solution supporting a fleet of more than 1,600 vehicles, including 85 electric vehicles. The programme enables officers to access a wide network of discounted fuel sites, embed cost-efficient refuelling behaviours, and utilise integrated EV charging payment solutions as the electric fleet expands. Enhanced management reporting has also delivered improved spend visibility and carbon emissions insight, supporting both operational performance and decarbonisation objectives.

Paul Holland, managing director for UK/ANZ Fleet at Corpay, including UK brand, Allstar, said:  “Public sector fleets need to maintain reliable frontline services whilst the need for them to transition their vehicles to EV grows. This renewed CCS agreement allows us to support mixed fleets in the real world, providing the payment methods, reporting capability and operational tools organisations need to transition at a pace that is sustainable, affordable and operationally realistic for their needs. Having supported public sector fleets for more than two decades, we’re proud to continue playing a role in helping UK organisations, no matter which vehicle type they use, and ensure a compliant, efficient and simplified procurement process through the framework.”
