Police promote safety message for Isle of Man's school run

The need for safer parking during school drop-off and pick-up times has been stressed by police on the Isle of Man.

The Isle of Man Constabulary said officers would be carrying out educational and proactive parking enforcement to tackle irresponsible, inconsiderate and dangerous parking.

Drivers are being urged to avoid parking on zig-zag lines, in school entrances, or on pavements.

Drivers should also always follow school crossing patrol officers' instructions, and never let children get out...
