Plan to create Newbury hospital parking grassland

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has applied to build parking spaces on grassland.

West Berkshire Community Hospital provides services including a minor injuries unit for patients from Newbury and surrounding areas.

The trust says needs 41 more spaces for staff as it deals with more patients. The plan would cover creating 36 extra bays in total.
