Oxfordshire pilots cable gullies for charging electric vehicles at home

Oxfordshire residents without off street parking can apply for a scheme that allows them to charge an electric vehicle outside their own home.

The pilot project, being delivered by Oxfordshire County Council, is set to accelerate the transition to cleaner, greener electric vehicles.

It is estimated that 28% of households in Oxfordshire (86,000) lack off street parking and therefore may not be able to easily install a home charger (source: Field Dynamics).
