Jamie Cooke has been appointed as Cambridgeshire County Council’s new Service Director: Transport and Connectivity. He will join from the London Borough of Newham, where he is currently Acting Corporate Director, Environment and Sustainable Transport and was previously the council’s Director of Highways, Transportation and Parking. He has worked in local government for 17 years, 12 of which were in Highways.
