A partnership of public and private sector bodies in the West Midlands is urging the Government to fund its ‘revolutionary’ £1.5bn plan for new and improved rail infrastructure in the region.
Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), which is part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), and the West Midlands Rail Executive (WMRE) are backing the Outline Business Case for the Midlands Rail Hub, which was submitted to the Government by Midlands Connect in December.
