Hurdle retires

Independent transport consultant David Hurdle is retiring after a career spanning 57 years. A transport planner and a town planner, he has worked for London Transport, the Greater London Council, SERPLAN and the London Boroughs Association. In 2002 he became a consultant specialising in Local Travel Plans. More recently he has written ‘Little Bus Stories’ for 5 to 7-year-olds; and currently writes a public transport column in a monthly magazine in his hometown of Sheringham,...
