FirstGroup chief executive Matthew Gregory is to step down after the firm’s annual general meeting on 13 September.
Existing chairman David Martin will become interim executive chairman until a permanent successor to Gregory is appointed. Gregory joined the bus and train operator in 2015 as chief financial officer and was appointed chief executive in 2018.
