Brighton and Hove City Council is to prepare plans for a pilot ‘20-minute neighbourhood’ project.
The Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) and Sport England are promoting the concept, which says people should be able to meet most of their daily needs within a ten-minute walk from home (the 20 minutes relates to the walk there and back).
