Milton Keynes Council is to launch a leasing scheme for e-cargo bikes. The council has secured funding via the Energy Saving Trust and the DfT for a fleet of 21 e-cargo bikes, of which 13 will be leased to businesses. A procurement is underway for a company to maintain the bikes, manage the leasing scheme, and assist with scheme promotion.
