First has placed registrations for two new routes in Leicester that will bring it into competition with Arriva. From the start of September, the Aberdeen-based group will commence operating new route 38A, every 12 minutes between Leicester city centre and Thurnby Lodge and route 31, every six minutes, to Oadby from Leicester.
