Essex County Council has published a map showing nine options for improving the A120 which links Braintree and the A12 at Marks Tey, west of Colchester. Seven of the nine options involve a new road connecting to the A12 south of Marks Tey but north of Kelvedon. The other two options would see the A120 link to the A12 south of Kelvedon.
