Leeds City Council has been expanding its bus lane ANPR system and is prepared to take on moving traffic enforcement

Leeds City Council is expanding its CCTV enforcement network, meaning bus lane contraventions will be detected at 30 sites. The addition of six new sites is expected to further reduce the number of bus lane offences committed, enabling the council to meet its strategy of faster journey times for public transport users. 

The system expansion is incorporated within a new five-year maintenance contract recently awarded to Imperial Civil Enforcement Solutions (ICES).
