Bus builder East Lancs went into receivership last week but was swiftly purchased by North East entreprenuer Roy Stanley.
The business and assets of East Lancashire Coachbuilders Ltd, the UK’s fourth largest manufacturer of buses, were acquired by Stanley’s Darwen Group Ltd on August 17 for an undisclosed sum, just three hours after the company had called in the receivers.
