The City of Edinburgh Council is in talks with outdoor advertising firm JCDecaux about establishing a bike hire scheme for the Scottish capital.
Edinburgh signed a new outdoor advertising contract with JCDecaux last November, which included an option for establishing a bike hire scheme. JCDecaux operates bike hire schemes in 67 cities in ten countries, though none in the UK.
