Prospective open access rail operator Great North Eastern Railway has applied to the Office of Rail Regulation to run London to West Yorkshire and Lincolnshire services from December 2017: a two-hourly service to Leeds calling at a new East Leeds Parkway station; six trains a day continuing to Bradford and one to Ilkley, calling at the new Kirkstall Forge station; and up to four trains a day to Cleethorpes via Doncaster.
