Stagecoach Group is investing £75m in 430 new buses and coaches. The operator has placed orders for more than 380 buses for regional bus networks in the UK and 48 coaches including ten double-decker ‘sleeper’ coaches for megabus.com that provide 41 beds at night. Stagecoach placed the orders with ADL, Optare, Plaxton and Van Hool.
