Baker awards £100m bus cash

Bus services across many parts of England received a boost this week with news of how the DfT intends to allocate £101m of funding.

Transport minister Norman Baker said departmental underspending had allowed him to increase the size of the Better Bus Area Fund from £50m to £70m and the third round of the Green Bus Fund from £20m to £31m.
