A new report has confirmed that public sector funding support could help establish a permanent cross-Forth hovercraft service and comply with European rules.
Stagecoach, which is offering to set up such a service if there is an initial public sector investment, said the new legal advice was “a positive step forward” and called for a “roadmap” to help maintain the momentum towards making the link a reality.
