Capita Symonds has formed a joint venture with Ineco, one of Spain’s leading engineering consultancies, to bid for High Speed 2 contracts. The move follows the start of the DfT’s procurement process for a development partner and for contractors to assist in the engineering and environmental work for the scheme. Ineco has developed 6,000km of high speed rail line in Spain.
