Optare has received orders for over £4m of vehicles in January along with a high level of sales enquiries, leading the company to suggest that the UK bus market is showing signs of recovery. Customers placing orders include one of the major transport groups which has ordered 16 buses, plus independents including Epsom Coaches, Anglian Coaches and Hendersons Travel.
