Go Ahead’s plans to expand into the North American transportation market have taken a step forward with the news that Go Ahead North America, the recently formed joint venture established with US-based yellow school bus operator Cook-Illinois, has captured its first contract.
The group has won an three-year contract, with two one-year extensions in St.Louis, Missouri. The deal calls for the operation of 100 school buses with the contract scheduled to start in August.
