POOLE-BASED bus ticketing equipment specialist Wayfarer announced last week that it has been acquired by French group Parkeon for an undisclosed sum from its management team, in a deal that both sides say is a natural fit for the two businesses.
The deal brings together Wayfarer’s considerable strength in bus and light rail ticketing around the world with Parkeon’s own expertise that is largely in the parking and heavy rail sectors.
