New mobile ticketing scheme is the first to be rolled out across UK

Transport group Arriva has launched what is the first nationwide roll-out of mobile ticketing technology in the UK as part of a new partnership with Concept Data Technologies. The new service, which will be available on all of Arriva bus routes outside London, will allow passengers to buy daily, weekly and four-weekly tickets via their mobile phones.
