The Local Government Association is considering using the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act to demand openness on how much bus operators are paid in the concessionary fares scheme.
LGA senior policy consultant, Caroline Green, said the association would consider using the act to get details of concessionary fare appeal cases, which determine how much councils should reimburse bus operators.
